Toolpath filter

Is there an external toolpath filter for x as in v9? Some of the surface toolpaths do not have an internal filter and I need to shrink my program a bit, we don't do dnc here and I don't see any reason to go throught the hassle of setting it up for one job. Perhaps a chook aka v7?

Yes there is for many toolpaths to include, pocketing, contour. the surfcing toolpaths.

The filter seems to work fine in 3d surface programs, but watch it if you use the filter tab in the simple contour program. I had it violate a couple of my parts recently and mastercam's quick verify did NOT show it doing so.

I think that my point has been missed, I know of the filter tab that is in many of the toolpaths, both for 2d, 3d and surfacing toolpaths. Surface restmill for example dos'nt have a filter tab. In v9 if you right click in the op manager the second selection options includes filter, which worked on any toolpath. I am wondering if there is any such animal in X or if someone out there has a chook to do the same thing? Peter

If you click on the "total tolerance" button inside of restmill, you should be able to set your filter there. I don't know about the external filter.
