I’m using a generic post for a 4th axis on a Matsura with a yasnac control. The post works fine

except when out putting the A rotation it leaves the decimal point out and I have to manually input them in any help would be helpful.

This is a question of format statements:

look for the lines:

fs2 11 0.3 0.3 #Decimal, absolute, 3 place

fmt A 11 cabs #C axis position

this assigns the format statement (fs) number 11 to the variable cabs with the prefix C.

I'm not experienced with post so what would I have to change so when it outputs a .nc file that the decimal point would be there.

That should work. Are you absolutely sure your running that post. Could you be defaulting to a different post and overlooking it? Check the Active Post name at the top of the window that pops up after you select the POST button in the operations manager. If you have more than one version of MC on your computer select CHANGE POST and follow the path to make sure.

If all that is correct, how about show us a piece of the .nc file without the dec. point. I'm just curious.

I over looked "indx_out #Index position" it was

set for no decimal points.
