  1. I'm useing v9.1 . When I creating check points for inspection with vetor lines and the model is out in space from world origin (mastercam origin) and i'm in the locale axis and project the points with vector lines and have it output a text file so the CMM software can read it, all the x,y,z, are from the world origin not the locale axis.
  2. I feel your pain I've been there done that live and learn. I always have autosave on but I have don't have anything checked in the autosave menu, under file name I have autosave.mc9 and it save a backup in the same folder as original file as autosave
  3. Is there any way I can output a text file for our CMM without having to move the model to world origin instead of using the models locale axis? Thanks Chris
  4. Its Your Video Card, go to display properties/Setting/advanced tab/troubleshoot/scroll back your hardware acceleration to disable direct draw and direct3D and this will correct the problem. I will not use ATI cards with Mcam
  5. I’m having a problem with our 4th axis post now. When I try to post a program with 4th axis motion in it I keep getting a error message that reads “WARNING –INDEX ANGLE DOES NOT MATCH POST SETTING (‘ctable’) press enter to continue “ when I do so the program looks good and runs but I keep getting the error message .I’m using Mastercam ver 8.1 with a post that was edited to post the angle rotation it worked in the past and now I keep getting this message Thanks Krystof
  6. is there any one fron the Seattle area whoo has any work.
  7. I over looked "indx_out #Index position" it was set for no decimal points. thanks krystof
  8. We tried that and it didn't give us what we wanted. I download a mc8 file called boss and we want to keep a round dia. on top. We would like to take a .750 dia. ballnose tool and run around it, the we are doing it now is using a smaller ballnose tool and going around it. Thanks krystof
  9. I'm not experienced with post so what would I have to change so when it outputs a .nc file that the decimal point would be there. the post I have is just like the lines below. look for the lines: fs2 11 0.3 0.3 #Decimal, absolute, 3 place fmt A 11 cabs #C axis position this assigns the format statement (fs) number 11 to the variable cabs with the prefix C. Thank You krystof
  10. I'm trying mill a 1.125 dia. boss on a 2.5 dia. surface. Project will not work and I can't get pencil to work for me any suggestions. thank you krystof
  11. I’m using a generic post for a 4th axis on a Matsura with a yasnac control. The post works fine except when out putting the A rotation it leaves the decimal point out and I have to manually input them in any help would be helpful. thank you Krystof
