Ok how can you change all the normals in one shot, so say they all point out from the model.

When i do set in top veiw they all point up even the surface on the bottom of the model,so i have to flip the bottom ones out away from the model.

What veiw do i need to be in or some thing.

This would be vary helpful folks for me.

thank you guys for your time.

Funny how most things always revert back to that "brain" thing.

Damn, eh?

LOL!!!!

No matter how good the software gets, it still requires you to have a brain. Except for Pro/E. They, of course have the "Magic Machine" button. ROTFLOL!!!!!!!!

Jay,

You doin' a flowline toolpath or offsetting Surfaces? That's really the only places it matters ya know? Eh? (I love that, I'm surprised more of our Canadian friends dont "say" that in here. My sister in-law is from Kitchener, Ontario and she says "Eh" often and she's been here for like 10 years.

James what is happen is that i am makeing STL files to bring into Predator VCNC so i can use this as stock.

for it to come in clean from a STL i make in mastercam it wants to see the Normals pointing out or in.

On all surfaces then it brings them in clean and i can do forgings like this.

So i was looking for a really simple click and the normals all out or all in.
