Mori's load monitoring function...

No Michael. There is a teaching function that tells machine what the normal load on up to 4 axis is (ex. when the tools are nice and sharp ) and in short you setup a load treshhold when you want to be warned, say 10% above normal and another treshhold when you want machine to stop...

Haven't tried it yet but looks promising.

Besides, could use something like that on feedmills.

I use it on my Okuma lathes but no Mori mills. works mint for what I do with it...

Thanks Chris, need to find out if it "works mint" on a mori also. From what I've read it looks promising...

I've usd it before on OLD Mori's. I think GE Fanuc's I-adapt is the same thing for the most part.

We just got a new guildemaster "graziano" (fanuc control) millturn in and it has the load monitoring function as well. Ive been reading about it and it looks pretty powerful. Still waiting for the checks to be completed and havent had a chance to run it yet, but i'll let u know what i find out.
