Not all tool paths are posting

Recommended Posts

I have my toolpaths broken down into groups for different operations. For my contouring toolpaths I have 1 contour, and then about 10 transform between planes, and then a transform rotate. Then another 10 transform between toolplanes, and then one more tranform rotate. There is a total of 25 ops in one group. When I select the entire group and then post, it takes a minute and mastercam goes through the list unchecking each toolpath, and then comes up like it is ready to post. When I do post, it does not select the last op in the group. So When I post, I have 1 operation, in my case a transform rotate, that does not post. Anybody have any idea of why this is doing this or have it happen to them? Just started doing this with the install of MR2.

I am having great luck with the NC filename.

I imagine there are other ways that work but this is what I do. Go to Settings > Configuration > Toolpath Manager and set the NC file name to "Prompt on first operation only" and "Last operation's NC file"

Derek,

quote:

If you are copying ops between toolpath group it does not automatically put the right nc file name to the op

It renames the NC filename automatically when set as above on my end.

CNC has done some great work here to make the NC naming more flexible for everyone. I think one just has to find what they like.
