is there a way to make the color mask option select

the color i have at the bottom of my screen instead

of having to check the color in options when doing a toolpath.in v9 it automatically used that color if

color mask was used.also is there a way to make mcx

default to endpoint instead of sketch when creating

a point for example.

yes steve i do.lets say i have a part drawn and it has several colors in it.i only want to wirepath the color red.when i go to wirepath ,options, color, all of the colors used are checked.i then have to select the color red only, to keep it from chaining all the way around

i am trying to save a step and have it select only the color i have at the bottom of my screen instead of having to go to the options box.i hope this makes sense.

no, i'm talking about when you create a thread point or cut point at the end of a line extended for example.i want it to default to end point instead of sketch just to keep from having to zoom in on it all the time.it's not a big deal but

in v9 i thought you could configure it to make it default to endpoint instead of sketch.

Del,

Use the "Power Keys" option for point creation. CNC software has brought back the keyboard shortcuts for point selection. Right click in the graphics window and from the right click menu select the "Autocursor" button. Turn on the check box for "Power Keys". With Power Keys enabled you can press E on the keyboard to lock the cursor into endpoint selection mode. You could also go up to the autocursor override menu and right click on the Endpoint key to "lock" the cursor into endpoint selection mode. Note that if you lock the selection mode you will have to press "ESC" to get stop the endpoint mode. Check out the "What's New" document. Look In: C:McamX-MR2Documentation. Hope that is what you are looking for.
