MR2 install problem.

I had trouble the first time I tried to install also, though it wasn't the same error. I just re-downloaded it and tried it again and it worked.

no sorry Bruce ....just had Xmr2 installed 3 weeks ago by the inhouse solutions ppl...had problems with them upgrading my old post so i ended up re-directing it to my v9 post and funny enough it works with Xmr2

Have you tried re-registering the dll? I hate asking but here it goes.....have you installed the new Solid Edge Direct translator X Downloads

The newest SolidEdge Direct translator is indeed the one that's in the MR2 install. We've added automatic installation of the MastercamDirect addons (SolidWorks, SolidEdge, & Inventor) to the Mastercam install.

I would recommend trying again (you can use a DOC prompt window to do to the c:mcamx-mr2direct folder and type "regsvr32 mcsolidedgeaddin.dll". Or, of course, if you don't have SolidEdge installed, you can ignore it.
