I had this in X and ver9,I use 2.5" Face mills with

straight sides and a .06 rad on the corner,if I try

to define this tool as a face mill I get the invalid

tool definition error.I can call it a bullnose and it works,or draw the tool and that works, any idea

why it won't work as a face mill thats all we use for facing?

hmmm, seems to work for me, I just created a new tool and everything seemed to work ok. I made a 2.5 with a .06 radius and had no problems.

I am using 9.1 Roger, and if you want to email me, I will send you the file I just tried it with. Then you can look at the tool.
