Hi all,

we machined SYNTAC material. What is cutting speed and feed?

Coolant on and/or off? Can you help me?

well, you can cut it very fast but you have to keep the tool cold, when I cut it I use the manual gun colant to cool the tool, I don't like to keep the colant on all the time cause it will close the filters and it make a big miss in the colant tank, if you can use a vacuum to colect the material , it will be fine

hss tools better that carbide

I can give it 4000 mmPM without any problem
