it happens here too when the battery empty, just changing the battery solving the problem,
and no need to reboot the control, after changing the battery, just call for the same probe number again , the probe will got a signal and the alarm will go away
making the probe not to rotate is for safety, and its good thing,
imagine that a programmer will mistake and choose the probe to rotate at 10000rpm
it will coast a lot more than a tool
I used one from Roland, it was touch not laser, it gave me good results.
I saw nextengine in action , it is simple and it works
if you want to scan part from all sides there was manual alignment to connect all the images.
as Marshal said , its cheap and work fine and it will give you the accuracy you want.
check there site it have standard software with the scanner and they have software that will be extra, you need to check your needs.
Hi Ray
there is different types of scanning, it depend on accuracy you like and the size of the part
there scanners from company Roland , they have laser scanner too , check also FARO scanners they are very cool.
check also nextengine scanner.
the scanner usually come with a software that will give you the surfaces.
there is a lot of types and you need to chose the one that will give you what you need
I see you are wrong that the thread is not deleted yet ASAP as you said.
hope you enjoy your new super CADCAM system for your super parts in your super company.
hope its the last time we will here from you about how much NX is SUPER in Mastercam forum.
there was a lot of topics about the High speed, if you try the search you will find a lot of topics.
any way you have to be more clear about your problem and what you need.
like: what speeds and feeds you use now?
what machine? what type of work?
what you mean its slow? is the machine slowing down in some area or its slow all the time?
I have fanuc 18i and it have the option of SHPCC
I use it only with some kind of parts
and welcome to the forum
with that long cutter, the 3000 rpm is reasonable now
I have 150mm cutter 6mm dia, I cant go for more than 5000rpm when I need to go to 100mm depth.
more rpm = more vibration
3000 is slow for aluminum, I will go for 10000 if it possible with your machine and will go for 2000 for feed as start, it depend if it rough or finish.
Hi David
as chris said it is in the Arc Filter / Tolerance
there is a Toolpath fillet
you can put the radius you want to make a radius on the sharp corner, but it will make the radius on
x,y and z also
not only x,y as you want
