HI I just made a program and it didn't save it in alphabetical order it just jut it first. I had named the program begining with a number at first then saw that it placed it first, then renamed it starting with a letter and it is still staying first on the list. Any ideas on how to move it.

Thanks Joe

Mastercam does not save in a particular order. It is Windows that is 'sorting' the file listing. In your case the sorting order has probably been set to 'By Date', resulting in the most recent file created/modified being listed first.

Again, I am sure that this is a Windows issue and can be easily changed by selecting a different view sorting method.

(I know how to do it...just can't cover all the steps and variations found in the complete Windows family of OS's!)

I do not know it has always saved all of my program files in alphabetical order automatically. I just did 2 more programs and it saved them just fine. I would just like to be able to move that file from the #1 spot that is were I keep my fixture plate hole locations that I use to set my G54.

Thanks Joe
