Old Programs

Often times I run into IJK problems when I take old hand written programs and put them in the haas control it alarms out, re programming is the smartest thing to do but it adds cost to the product, is there any software that I can use to check the program integrity before I load it to the machine, can anybody help on that?

A product called MCU will let backplot code and watch it run.

Doesn't it add any cost to the job to fuss with old programs to get them to run???

 

Reprogram them, bring them up into the 21st century and start making more money on them. Take advantage of new methods and tooling.

 

A small hit intially but a savings over time.

+1 to john, better to use new technology and keep files up to date.

If at all possible, re-program. Yeah you'll take a little hit up front but on the backside, you'll gain SOOOOOOOO much. Especially if you run into a new rev situation.
