Creating multiple circle centerpoint of same size

I have searched the help files and the forum and cannot find the answer. If I want to make several circle/centerpoint and pick points at random on the screen, how can I make these circles without constantly re-entering the circle size like we could do in V9?

After you enter the value push either the diameter or radius button a second time so that the field has a red background. This will keep the value the same for all circles entered. It works in parallel lines and other features as well.

As tim stated you can puch say the Dia button it will turn red now type the value you want and it will stay modal.

I don't quite remember, but their is or at least used to be a hot key combination to lock fields such as this. Does anyone know what it is or if it was incorperated in the released version.

You should be able to press Shift + D (diameter) or Shift + R (radius) to move the cursor into these boxes and lock them at the same time. Using Shift + shortcut key also works on many of the other Create line/arc/rectangle etc. commands where you would want to lock in a value.

Holding the [shift] key down while pressing a field's shortcut key to hard-lock that field is my favorite method.

 

In X2 if you set "Ribbon Bar Modality", Mastercam remembers the button states of each ribbon bar so the next time that function is called, the buttons will be in the same settings as the last time it was accessed. The function also remembers cases where you have hard-locked specific values in a ribbon bar and will restore the state along with the values.
