Dimension Rounding

One of the guys here has his drafting dimensions set to 3 places, but the dimensions themselves are not accurate to 3 places. For instance, a dimension that is 17.256 will show up as 17.000. He is an operator running the demo version just so he can check dimensions, look at programs, etc. There must be a setting somewhere, but I'm blind as a bat and can't find it. What am I missing? Thanks

Hi Mowens,

I'm pretty sure the demo version is setup to NOT display dimensions accuratly so that people can not use it to create 2D drawings by drawing and dimensioning geometry and then printing the geometry with dimensions. The only option your operator has with demo is to use "analyze distance" or analyze point. Kind of a pain, but that is a limitation of Demo.

The DEMO version is NOT intended to be used in manufacturing, etc. That is why it is intentionally crippled in this manner. If the need to dimension simple wireframe type files get Design LT. It will do the job. The demo is to be used to learn the basics of the software, etc. It still is a good learning/prectice tool even if you can't save geometry or crete useable code.
