Backplot is slow in X2

Hi all

 

Not sure if its a setting I am missing, just wanted to see if anyone is having any backplot issues with X2. When I click the play button my tolls are moving very slow. If I step through with the "S" key it is fine. It is also fine just sliding the slider back and forth. I'm thinking a setting is changed but can't find it yet

Slide the slider between the Vcr controls and the main slider I think is turned down a little bit since MR2, also the speed seems to be a bit more adaptive in that the maximum speed is not as fast in a small toolpath but will gradually increase in speed as the size of the toolpath increases. Anyone else notice this?

You can always set the desired default play speed in Config on the Backplot topic page

there is also setting in the asterix icon that you can change to 1 sec ...mine was 10 and the turned it into a whirlwind

same with verify but instead of decreasing the number ...increase it

when you go to backplot the toolpath you will have a large ...exclamation mark? ...

I stand corrected ..Its an Exclamation mark on the right corner of the toolpath box when you backplot.....im at home now and sadly i cannot send you a picture

this will allow you to speed up your toolpaths

sorry bout dropping the brain there ...you can also speed up your verify as well by increasing the step rate as well ...i had a 40 min finish program blast through in less that a minute at 10000 setting

my computer runs very slow after using backplot?

running mr2 with no problems.

No ...how many sessions of X2 you got running and what type of machine are you using?

only one session, dell 380 3.79 ghertz ,2.0 gb ram ,ati fire gl v3100

Now you have me at a loss as im running a dell 3800 with 3.0 chip and with nvidia card and it seems to run fine with 2 sessions.....will have to get back to you tomorrow morning ...hopefully someone might be able to jump in before tomorrow ..but i will check first thing in the morning
