thread gage

I need to make a gage for a .342-48 uns 2b but I don't have thread gage software to find the dimentions and tolerances for the gage. Can anybody help me with it please .

Isn't that in the Machinery Handbook??

Are you a gage house? If not, I would suggest buying one; a gage you make yourself ain't exactly kosher. Swanson or Westport would be a good place to start for something like that.

We have the software to do the calculation if you want. is it a plug, or ring gage you are making, or both?

I beleive there is a copy of ME Colsultant on Jay's FTP. It has a section for measuring over wires.

We use Thread tech, I think you can download a demo for it.
