  2. Ernie, I have this problem also. Windows 7 pro service pack 1 I loaded 3 shop computers without a problem. My laptop hangs up on seeking
  3. I found this link for X4mu3 It still works. https://verisurf.sharefile.com/d/sc3fa7b8ad574e419
  4. Both using Vector function or delete, polygon, with IN+ help but still select lines I don't want to select. I run into this a lot with this customer. Was hoping I was missing something easy. Maybe an idea for a future feature in Mastercam. If someone out there with the smarts to write a c-hook whats to do this that would be great.
  5. Teh Bear: I have no knowledge about writing c-hooks. K2csq7: I have a customer that provides me with drawings with section views. I'm trying to get rid of the hatch lines. When I import his drawings Everything is on one level and hatch lines are not drafting entities. Thanks for the replies. I guess I'll just have to struggle thru.
  6. Is there a way to select only lines at a certain angle?

  10. Missed this the first time around. Thanks to all involved for this c-hook. Love It!
  11. I found the answer. It seems Windows installer did not finish for some reason. I found this http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...kb;en-us;290301 and used it to remove X4 Mu1 install program. All is working right now.
  12. I loaded X4 Mu1 on my computer. Now when I open ver 9 the X4mu1 update starts running again. You can cancel it and ver 9 opens ok after that. Any ideas how to stop this from happening?
  13. VCarve Pro is great. If you have the money I'd buy Aspire instead. Both have trial versions. Try them and you'll like them. Nothing faster or easier that I've seen.

  15. Joe Your last post was the answer for me. If I open a file from x3 it has all levels on. If I changed to only the levels I wanted to see and saved it as X4 it still reopened with all levels showing. If I open X3 file and set levels to what I want and save viewsheet bookmark as X4 file, then when I reopen it comes in as I wanted it to look. Also if I turn viewsheets off it will come in as I want. If I turn vewsheets back on then I see all levels. The answer is to open the file. Fix the levels. Save the viewsheet bookmark. Save as X4. Thanks for the info. Hope this will help you Greg
  16. Greg, I have the same problem. As of this time I haven't found a fix. Hope someone can help. Thanks Joe for the info.
  17. Thanks Jon, Unfortunately I'm real good about cleaning out old junk (not always Junk) from my computer. In this case just what I did. I did find an old ver 9 post that I can upgrade into X. It should work that way.
  18. Thanks John Thats what I was afraid of.
  19. Is a post that has been updated for MCX2 still compatible with MCX. If not what would I have to change to make it backwards compatible. How about the machine definition files.
