Hello

Does anyone have a chart of a gear/sprocket tooth and what the Lingo actually pretains too.

I have the *gear chook in front of me but those fancy words are all pig latin to me!

I'm making a pencil holder that looks like a twisted extruded sprocket out of aluminum.

(We had good size job pulled from us)

and now I'm dead for a month or so...

The machinery's handbook is the place to start. Gear making is quite specialized. Boston Gear has a catalog. Look on the web For the address

I put a .bmp file on the ftp site in the unspecified uploads folder called 'gear theory zip'. It's a diagram of gears from the Machinery's Handbook.Hope this helps.
