3D and 2D Problem

Hi,

I seem to have a problem getting to grips with the 2D 3D button. I thought that if it was set as 2D then any geometry I draw is at the Z setting even if I click previous geometry.

I have just noticed that if it is set to 2D and offset geometry it moves it to the current Z height. To me this is moving it in 3D. I thought 2D would mean all I draw is in 2D, anyone else think this is wrong?

It works differently than it did in 9. In 2d mode it will offset and move to your current z height - in 3d it will offset at the z depth the geometry is already at.

Except in translate where 2d keeps the original geometry Z height

You would want to use xform translate 3D then
