thread milling in V9

I am having an issue with thread milling; I am using a single point cutter and when I set it up and cut it, mastecam does not completely mill the circle; it does like half of it and then it will only do a couple of threads no matter the depth and top of part setting. Is there a setting somewhere I need to change. I tried this in V9 and X and they are the same.

What is your number of teeth set to?

It should be 1 if it's a single point tool.

The helix on and off function is most likely the partial cut you speek of, it sounds like the the helix is either not output by the post or not supported by the control.

What does the code look like?

You may also want to break up the arc output into quadrants and see if that works for you.
