No problem, but then I dont use MasteCAM solids, so I cant vouch for how easy/difficult that is.

 

It is a complete fallacy that solids are hard to edit, one propogated by users of poor CAD packages or of little experience. Part of the trouble here is the parametrics packages that wont let you edit anything unless you have the parametrics tree and when you do have the parametrics tree will only let you edit all features enmass rather than individually..., but speaking for myself Ive never had trouble making a modification to any valid solid weather its a native file or a import

 

Also when creating a part is is always good practice to keep the original wireframe somewhere safe becuase you never know when a major change will mean a complete rebuild, and in my experience its not the solid that takes the time, but defining the wirefram from which the solid is generated

Currently Im using Cadkey, but its not necessarily the package rather the way you use it, I know Unigraphics and Catia users that cant do half the stuff I can do in Cadkey!

Its a of matter of training..............theres a reason there 30g`s
