MC9.1 Hasp not found New computer Oh No

Currently on V9.1. Upgraded to a new PC. The hasp driver on the CD failed to install. Downloaded the latest driver from the Aladdin web site. The Aladdin driver now works but the MC9.1 hasp utility will not find the USB hasp. Downloaded the MasterCam X hasp utility and it does recognize the Hasp. Is there a more current hasp utility for MC9.1?

If this a regular hasp(not a network hasp)and that doesn't fix it go to the Nhasp Utility and make sure that hasp is checked instead of nethasp.

I am on Windows XP 32 bit. I am not using a net hasp. The don't think the hasp utility for X will do me any good. I need a hasp utility for V9.1 that will work with the latest Aladdin hasp driver.

The driver_x.zip will work with V9 as well.

 

Since it is a regular hasp be sure to go to start, all programs, mcam9, nhasp utilities and make sure the hasp box is checked. If it is not, it will search the network for a hasp that's not there and say no hasp found.

try turning off your antivirus software before installing the hasp drivers

I got it working. Found some support files on the MasterCam web site. Thanks for all the help.

The issue that I get call every week on.

Going to a new computer with XP SP2, when XP sp2 came out when installing V9 from the disk the drivers were no good.

 

This why you need to go to the mastercam site and get the download the file Drivers.zip as this was fixed drivers for SP2 problem.

 

Make sure you unzip the files to there own folder and run the Drivers file this will run twice.

 

Once done try launching MC.
