Fanuc canned cycles

Hey Post Peoples,

 

I have need to alter a post of mine from the regular canned cycles to one lined canned cycles.

 

Eg. (current)

G71 U R

G71 P Q U W F

 

(need to look like)

 

G71 P Q U W D F (D being DOC, obviously)

 

I need to mod all the canned cycles for this. Where do I start looking?

What control do you have? Almost every Fanuc I have seen requires this format to work correctly.

 

1st U sets parameter for the cut and the 2nd U sets the line for the N to read the canned cycle.

 

Screwing with this is going to cuase problems for your canned cycles IMHO.

Ok. Changed that, looks 90% good. The file I tested on has a G73 (pattern repeat) in it, and MC only asks for the step over distance, thus it outputs a I & K as Zero regardless of what I input.

 

How can this be fixed?
