I start a new job Monday

On Monday, I start a new position as a Senior programmer for a local company. I'm really looking forward to it, as I am going from working in a small shop programming two Okuma verticals, and two Okuma lathes, to supervising and programming in a company that has two Mori Seiki MT lathes, plus four horizontal machining centres, eight CNC lathes, a large vertical CNC lathe with a C axis and pallet changer, and it looks like they are going to be expanding machinewise this year (by a lot!)

 

Luckily, we use Mastercam here, so it will be great. I worked part time as a local support person for Mastercam here, and hopefully, I will continue to do so, although probably on a limited basis.

 

One thing that has bothered me lately, is that I haven't been able to spend much time on here, being that I have been so busy. However, this new position should afford me more time to contribute to this forum more actively. At least, I hope so!
