Tooling Tab Question

I'm using 9.1 MR0105. Is there a way to copy a group of geometry around the profile of a part? What I'm wanting to do, is copy tooling tabs at a specified distance around the profile of the part that can be machined away later. I've found reference to tabs in Wire and Router, but nothing in mill. Thanks in advance for any help.

Create points along entity and create geometry

at those points - but probably going to have to

break the geomtry where you want the tabs in

v9 to get retracts there

Don't really want to hop over, I'm looking to create the tool tabs themselves. Trying to create a tab with a bolt hole around the part, without having to draw each one. Actually, maybe draw one, and copy it's profile around the outer contour of the part. Thanks.

That's what you need to do. no simple way in V9

Thanks. Was hoping there was an easy way to copy the geometry and get it to follow and rotate around the profile of the part. Guess I'm stuck with the old method. Once again, thanks.
