How much would you expect to pay for a utility like the one discussed in this thread?

I would pay for a function that would generate PROBE locations on a profile at a given spacing to check within a profile tolerance, given that the parameter for stock allowance is included in the calculation. Also if there is a way to vectorize the points so that we can drive the probe to the surface in a normal direction, this would give a more consistant probe trigger response.

That functionality is already there with Create,Point, Srf Poject, including different file output formats. APT XYZIJK or just XYZ

 

I think Bullines chook is for points already in position with no surfaces involved.
