Bolt Circle

I am wanting to add the Bolt Circle to my RMB. But I cant find where it is hiding. Anyone know where it is so I can add it to the RMB?

You have to actually add the c-hook, I have it on mine.

That actually launches the bolt circle chook

Why use the C-hook, go to drill tool paths,expand the drop down and create points and toolpaths on the fly

Now, what I am curious about is if this, thru the drill/bolt circle command (I have never used it this way) creates a canned bolt circle, or just point to point?

 

Has anybody ever enquired about getting a canned bolt circle put into MC as a switch box or something like that?

 

If you are watching this one John, I know what you are going to say about that old we looked at long ago to create a custom drill cycle. But that only displays the hole drilled at center not actually at the hole co-ords of the circle.

 

I realize asking for something like this is heavily post dependant because there is so many bolt circle commands/macros on many machines, but I don't think it's an unreasonable thought/request....

Agreed, that was because we were not outputting any "real" positions per se, just macro information that your machine could interpret as locations.

I wouldn't expect you to miss a thing, John. All be it, with your new job, one might wonder what you are doing surfing a forum instead of doing your duties as the floor boss...

But in all truth, I do think that having this option in MC would be very handy... JMO
