Machine and control def.

We just bought a Haas Sl-30 and a vf-2 w/tr160 trunnion and I am trying to set up machine and controls defs for them. I am working on the lathe right now but it won't let me define the components. Needless to say I am confused and do not know where to start. Any help would be great. Thank in advance

Have you read the working with machine and control def that is in the documentation folder of your X2 install?

Make sure the last item in each list holds

stock or tools - if you have more than one in each list make sure the first one is not checked when you check axis combos - also found even legal ones would not show unless they were saved and the list exited then go back to machine def and they will show axis combos - might also check to see it your simm has the machine you are building enabled

Thanks for the help. I found that the generic fanuc post works well and with some edits should work great.
