contours in mastercam 9

This is gonna be hard to explain so bare with me here.

picture a vertical line. I'm following the line to make the tool go up the left side, go around the end, and come back down the right side, all the time with cutter comp left. In mastercam 7, I would simply make a branch point at the end of the line by making intersections with smaller construction lines, then use the contour>chain command. 9 won't let me do this. Whenever I try, it breaks the chain and has 1 part go up the left side and a seperate chain come down the right. I need it to be all one chain. I tried a contour partial, but it does the same thing, only with a larger number of chains.

anybody got any ideas?

What you have to do is chain-partial,and after click on the first chain,change the "wait" in the left menu to yes,when wait is on "y", it will not "jump" to the second chain untill you'll decide.and now show the chain back.it will work.

That is what I did to Elad.

But sounds like he might want some thing diffrent.
