I dunno guys, fastest i can get it to take a program is at 1200 bps. Dont know what can be done about it, but thanks for the info.

I have a Mitsubishi Meldas 50 control but I think they are all similar.

 

When you goto the "Monitor" screen to search for your program, make sure the last of the 3 boxes is a 1 (0 is control memory and 1 is the RS232 port) the first box is always your program number. After pressing the Input button, I think you have 60 seconds to send the program from your PC. Then you can cycle start. Also if you have a rotary selector switch make sure it is set to tape.

 

You have to redo the search part when running new programs, but if you are re-running a program all you need to do is press start button and resend from the PC.

Does the control offer a faster setting? That is the controling factor. Your data baud rate has to match at sending unit (PC) and the control

Did you get the drip feed to work? The way the Com settings need to be set are a little goofy. I can look them up when I get home.
