Daewoo Mill- Mitsubishi Control-Communication Question

Has anyone ever set a Daewoo mill with Mitsubisi control to dnc? Can you give me an idea of the settings for Cimco and if anything was different about the cable. Anything in machine that has to be set?

the parameters in the machine will have to be set, baud parity etc cable is the same as our moris with fanuc controls

Hey Mike/ and Jimmy,

Thanks for helping me out on that part yesterday.

We have a Mitsubisi control here and we actually dnc to it last week. This is what you need to do:

 

Got to Tape Mode and Hit Cycle Start. This puts it in DNC mode. No setting is required at the machine end. My Cimco is set normal. Enable DTR/RTS is checked and software enable. Make sure you have Single Block on otherwise it will take off immediatley if your not prepared.

 

Hopefully that will get you going.

Thanks Lightnin, but ur too late, I drove down here this morning and rewired it and figured it out.

 

How'd the part turn out?

Have not got to it yet. Crazy here. Will need to optimize cut order like you said.

Did try to post with mpfan and got alarm.
