Type3 engraving software

Hi everyone,

 

Has anyone had experience using type3 engraving software? I was asked to check it out for the boss to help with doing logos and the like.

 

If I get responces pointing me to mc's engrave please also rate it out of 10 for ease of use and smoothness of the vectors created.

Thanks for the lead Kenneth. I read the other posts with interest. It seems you have been using type3 for a while and like it. Do you have to do much manual cleaning up of lines or does the software do this for you? Call me fussy but I don't like to see different facets on the parts I engrave.

I have not used the Type3 but use the MC one many of time.

 

For less work on its side I suggest getting a clean EPS OR AI file then they come in great.

So fare I have not seen software bring a BMP in and not have to a little cleaning.

The engraving package has improved big time over the last couple of years.

I use it for the mold work I do for my customers.

 

They have been going crazy over this sense I started using it.
