groove tool offset

When using a front face groove tool I have to offset the geometry for the tool thickness and during back plot it obviously will violate the material. The guys on the shop floor have to touch off on the opposite side of the tool (this is the cutting edge) because of the close tolerance. Is there a way to change the zero location on lathe groove tools?

the problem is they need to touch off the groove tool on the opposite side where mastercam has the offset. I am putting the file on the ftp site under MCX2_Files directory as "groove question.MCX" It is operations 5 and 6 on the 1st side and operations 15 and 16 on the second side.

Thanks

Yes Crazy is right you need to re-define the cut direction.

With stock tools you can lie to the dialog and say that its working on the opposite spindle (right) and and uncheck the reverse box. Then press the draw button and it should come out on top of the Y-Axis rather than below and post the right code.
