Depth filtering in MR2

Can anyone tell me if Depth filtering works in MR2? It doesn't in MR1.

 

Here's how it's supposed to work. If you have 3D wireframe, a hole that doesn't go through the part has a top and a bottom arc. When you use mask on arc when drilling, sometimes MC finds the top arc and sometimes it finds the bottom arc. In the point sorting options is a depth filter that allows you to pick the highest or lowest arcs so you select all the holes on the same plane. This will keep you from crashing when using incremental for drilling.

 

Can anyone confirm that this works properly in MR2?

I got this to work in MR1 by turning off Filter out duplicates, looks like MR2 works the same way.
