A Stupid 3d miiling question.

Hi Guys, When your machining in 2d you can set MC to "wear" to allow for cutter wear and size, to get your parts just perfect--How do you do it when 3d surface machining I can see anything that allows for cutter size or wear..in any of these toolpaths.

They don't you have to adjust your amount of stock to leave to get it perfect if the tool is wearing. Remember that it works on all surface so it you put -.001 then you would take .002 out of the inside of a shape if measuring across 2 walls if being done by the same tool.

Ok I think I understand that, but what happens if your mould or punch that your machining is using 2 different diameter ball nose cutters that are blending together at some point on the surfaces.
