Hey all,

 

I am wanting to move my manual entry text outside of the tool change. Right now it looks as such

 

code:

( OD FACE + ROUGH )

(***** DIAL IN FRONT 4.062")

(DIAMETER WITHIN .001" *****)

N2 T0101 M42

N3 G96 S700 M04

---

and I would like it to be

 

code:

Thus placing it before a tool cycle. Where can I affect this?

It looks like it is going to be ignored by the machine.

 

Could you maybe post a few lines before as well?

There is only the O # before that for this instance. I have one further down the program that is like such

Now I know what you are trying to acheive, but can't find the switch you are looking for.

I would also like to my manual entry outside the tool change. I have been editing it after I post when I use it.

I think you can move this around by changing

the location of comment$ in the post

put a # in front of the original so you can

go back if need be and add comment$ at new location in psof and ptlchg

I got it changed around to work for me. It looks like this.

 

ltlchg$ #Toolchange, lathe

comment$ --------This is where it goes

toolchng = one

gcode$ = zero
