We have a VF5 that was made in 6-99. The controller keeps typing lower case "h" across the bottom of the screen. We have figured out that it is not a button stuck because it would type Upper case. I really need this machine. Is there anybody out there that has had this problem and knows a quick fix to it?

I would like to all so say that this forum is one of the greatest tools I have every come across on the net. There is alot of great guys on here that i learn from on a dailt basis. Thank you all.

is it just the "h"?

holding the shift key down while hitting a letter will give you lower case..

does this appear when you typing the h or does it just keep showing the h's being entered? headscratch.gif

sounds like the keyboard gone bad.

I can make it type lower and upper case "h". and any other letter will do the same. But when you type something on the screen it will put lower case "h" mixed in with the edit. If you are stand in at the control watching it, it puts a lower case "h" on the screen every 2 seconds. If you hit reset it clears the "h"'s and starts all over again.

Thanks for your help
