Normally we capture #4120 immediately after the M6 in our toolchange MACRO in a #1XX variable. Once the next tool gets staged, variable #4120 now has the next tool in it. so after the stage tool line you could add a line like #151=#4120

Actually that does help. Dont really need a staged tool number. Sicne I am recording it to #517 already. I just needed to know when they change.

 

I did not know when #4120 was changed. I always though it represented the head tool. Now I know it changes at the stage point.
