new to mastercam

I have a simple part that has 3 bores(mill)!

 

When I create the 3 arcs from top at origin,

and each at the propoer depths,I can't seem to get the tool to stay in the hole previously drilled.

 

Would like to mill top depth then middle depth

and bottom in that order.

 

I keep having to run like 3 seperate operations.

 

Can anyone shed some info on this for me?

View the Geo in the op manger to see the order that i picked the geo and I all so checked the start from a point in the entry ,exit Parameter.

You can use one arc & create the three bore milling depths by using the depth cut option in your tool path parameters settings.

 

Lets say you have a print depth of Z-.75

 

In the depth cut I would set the

 

MAX rough at .25 " thats .75/3 "

Finish cuts at 0

Keep tool down (Checked on)
