Cutting New Material

I am cutting a new material (new to me) and could use some insight.....it is A286

 

What would be recomended cutting speeds and feeds using uncoated Carbide cutter (1/2 dia. 4 flute)?

I am cutting a hex 2.0 deep so am using extended cutters. I tried one part at 750 rmp with a feed of 10in/min and totally wiped out 2 brand new cutters....

Thanks.......looks to be about a 600rpm and a feed of 4.8/5 in.......

 

 

Just hope it works I have 15 parts due in 2 days.

Looks like fun. Nickel, Chrome with some Ti. Based on John's links, I don't see much for additives which would improve it's machinability.

I'd start my numbers somewhere on the low side of 304L. Be careful if your drilling. I bet that stuff will harden quick.
