How to have post ask you a question?

On my old post, it asks me which machine to post for. I enter a number and it posts the correct tool change and end of program cycle. I didn't setup the post initially, but I have changed the question and added to the post to change based off it. I am wondering how you make it ask for the information. The code looks like this:

fq 1 progno$ "ENTER MAIN PROGRAM NUMBER"# User Prompt for Main Prog Number

fq 2 machine "Machine (0=V30'S & V40#2 - 1=V40#1 - 2=760)"

# --------------------------------------------------------------------------

 

Notice it is actually set to ask 2 questions, but it never asks the first question (program number).

 

How does this work, and if I want to implement it into another post (actually a .set file)?

in a post block you put q1 to ask fq 1.

You will also need a format statement to tell the post how to format and output the response. Take a look at Columbo's link and read the post by Charlie Pierson.
