Thanks for the link but it doesnt help me really. Our shop didnt buy mastercam until X came out. My problem is that we have a customer that wants some changes made to some of his parts and he has all of his older mastercam files to make the job easier. Well they are all v7 and we cant open them. frown.gif

How many files?

 

I could convert them for you.

 

If not, check with your reseller, he should be able to offer you a solution.

 

Perhaps he could get you the X or V9 media.

 

Although I think the X media is available on the mastercam website.

 

Might be worth checking out

Hey Neurosis...

 

I recently updated eight posts from V7 to VX.

To facilitate the process I first updated them

from V7 to V9 and then to VX... (It helps to

have old software sometimes.)

One var to watch when the update is finished...

 

rpd_typ_v7$ : 0

 

Set it to zero or your canned cycles may

wind up in strange places...
