I need help with 4th axis direction in my post.

I would like M15 or M16 only at direction change.

Changing A- is no problem

What post are you using, and what control is on your machine?

 

Usually a m21 and m22 do the rotation change for indexing. You want a m15, m16 ?

MD: I'm in the same position. I need to implement this in our post for our Okuma MX55VB with 4th axis. Without the M15/M16 output, you get some messy rotary toolpaths. I can't work out how to implement it.

Our post is almost perfect for what we want, except for the 4th axis. The M15/M16 thing has me beat

Try Contacting your dealer to fix this if you do not get what you need from here.

 

If still no fix then as a last resort contact CNC them selfs.

I have made a few lines that might solve this problem

check CADCAM´s ftp site under

"Text_&_post_files_&_misc"

the file is m15m16.pst

I dont know what your variables are called, so you have to make a little rewriting.
