mastercam direct and inventor 2008 sp2

hi all,

updated inventor 2008 to sp2 and now I get 6 mastercam pull down menus with 4 more mastercam direct in them.

any ideas?

I've gotten several requests for the 'patch' so I've put it up on the FTP Site (you can use the link to 'cadcam's FTP site' at the top of the page) in a folder named "MCDirectForInventorX2MR2_NoMoreMultipleButtons".

Download both files and then follow the instructions in the .DOC file.

on my puter It's written : HKEY_CURRENT_USER

 

click on the plus sign next to it and you should see "software", then follow the rest of the path.

 

In step 3 of the patch instructions where you have to remove 3 subkeys, my system did not have the "PartMenuBar". I removed the other 2 and followed the rest of the instructions and it worked fine. Before I fixed it I had 44 Mastercam buttons in my Inventor toolbar

 

I have XP pro.

Glad I could help Malibu. Unfortunately,I don't think this will be the last you see of this problem

It worked temporarily for me, now they're starting to duplicate again

 

I would still like to just uninstall it. It's such a waste of time!

Michael,

To uninstall it, run Regsvr32 with a /U to unregister the DLL

You'll probably also have to go through the steps in the ReadMeFirst doc that you downloaded from the FTP site to clean up the new duplicate buttons.
