I turn alot of 14 3/8 dia asme grade 70 burnouts and who knows of a good insert grade for this? I am not having alot of luck with tool life so I have been just using surplus off ebay to save $. I have run anywhere between 250 and 900 sfm and I have found that about 1/8 doc .01-.013 ipr to work the best. I am just needing some better tool life. I usually only get about 1 part per edge right now.

any suggestions?
