ATI 2900XT on MC8 & MC9

Tried to use the above mentioned card on MasterCam 8 and MasterCam 9.1.

The cursor seem to be lagging and the card seem to be unusable for Mastercam 8 & 9....

Have used X1950pro before and the application runs smoothly....

This card is supposedly better than the previous model....

Can anyone advised on this issue?

Need to meddle with the driver setting?

Turn off Hardware acceleration, or at least turn it down a couple of notches until it works more smoothly

right click on your desktop >> properties >> settings tab >> advanced button >> troubleshoot tab

 

try clicking the hardware acceleration slider, 3 clicks to the left and try that setting.

If you do a search on Video Cards, you will find that the preferred chipset is NVIDIA.

 

I know this doesn't really help you, however, you might want to cut your frustration level and get a new card.

thanks for all the advise..will try tonight....

my main pc is using quadro.....just wanna try on this card...if good then can gaming at the same time....
