I got a question. I run 9.1 level 1 at work. At home I got "the other version of 9.1...." (don't fuss at me or get mad or go into the legal issues please. I am trying to learn all I can about what I can do with level 1 and ways to become a better programmer) well I am playing around with surface programming (trying to justify an upgrade at work.) I have done some sample posts and it looks to me like either the post or mastercam is changing arcs into liner moves. Has that happened to you? how can it be fixed? Just curious cause if I can justify an upgrade, then the post would have to be more streamline than what I am getting, due to memory in the machines. for instance, on a 3-d fillet, to angle, to fillet to flat to fillet the post had 90 lines of code (all liner) where it seems like an arc move, liner move, arc move, liner move then and arc move would take care of it? Any thoughts? banghead.gif
