well, here it is ,I run a brand new Haas vetical mill,(sweet little machine)anyways from time to time I machine solid pattern pine and Ren shape-ren board, and the dust is crazy ,its all over the machine the ways and the dust floats all over my work station,is there any good low cost dust collection systems that would remedy this problem?Preferably something that would adapt to the machine itself.

I use a high powered shop-vac for occasional use...I only use the fine partical bags (dry wall dust type) and also order from their web page the flat like a pancake cloth filter that covers top of canister (i.e. if cannister is 16" dia. I order 16" one apx.$32)...so when set up there are a total of 3 filters to protect electric brush motor...and when they burn up just buy a replacement motor from them.

I used to machine a lot of ren-board at the last place I worked at... We tried using MB-3000 (from BCC I believe...) as an alternative and ended up sticking with it. Better surface finish and much less dust created when machining. I think it maight be a bit more expensive, but it was worth it IMO.
