Hi Ez3putt,

 

Don't think we've spoken before so forgive me if you already know this... you don't have to use the three seperate fields when it comes to typing in XZ values in Lathe (same applies to Mill, Design etc. also).

 

If you right-click your mouse in the graphics window and select Autocursor from the list, you'll find there all the snapping options for your cursor.

 

That's not the interesting part. Near the bottom is an option called "Default to FastPoint Mode". Select that option and close the box. Now the next time you need to enter in a pair of coords., just start typing the values in - don't go into the "X" field first. For example you could type X50Z-25, or you can just type 50,-25. You should see the values appear straightaway in a single white field (temporarily in place of the XZY fields). Hope that helps!
